Estate Administration / Probate

000012519318Estate Adminstration or Probate is the court-supervised process of gathering the remaining assets, payoff of any existing creditors, identifiying heirs or beneficiaries, and distributing the remain assets per a will (if available) or the state's laws (if no will).

The Personal Representative is the individual charged with undertaking these duties.  The Personal Representative may be an Executor (where there is a valid will) or an Administrator (where there is no valid will or other estate plan).

In addition, the process of dealing with the death of a loved one can be burdensome and heart-breaking.  At BLG, we understand this and are available to assist in preparing and filing uncontested probate petitions.

After an initial consultation with our attorney and staff, we will be able to provide you with a great start towards understanding the process of preparing an estate.
